Since the Yeshiva’s establishment 20 years ago, we have merited that the Yeshiva has grown and developed, and in the spring - the month of Nissan, we held the cornerstone laying ceremony for the new educational complex of the Yeshiva.
In this new educational complex, a new Beit Midrash will be built with double the number of seats, as well as a new cafeteria, dormitories for the students and living quarters for married students.
Around the Beit Midrash, the plans include construction of a synagogue, daycare centers for children, a yeshiva high school and additional buildings that will serve all residents of Eilat interested in coming closer to the light of Torah.
Hundreds of people from all over the country put in the effort to come to Eilat in order to participate in the moving ceremony.
The Chief Rabbis of Eilat, Rabbi Yosef Hecht and Rabbi Moshe Hadaya, honored us with their presence, as well as the Rosh Yeshiva of Har Hamor, Rabbi Amiel Sternberg, Mayor of Eilat Meir Yitzchak Halevi and MK Motti Yogev.
We hope to receive the final building permits in the next few months and to begin construction of the new Beit Midrash. “We were like dreamers...”
