As every year, a Shabbat was held to introduce seniors to Yeshivat Ayelet Hashahar. High-school students from all over the country came with the aim of getting to know the yeshiva in depth.

On Remembrance Day, the rabbi's regular lesson on the issue of devotion took place in light of the strengths of the power of those who fell in the Israeli systems. We entered Independence Day in song and dance, in solemn prayer, and then at a meal with the students and the Ramim. Divrei Torah was said to understand our joy on this day. Happy Israel Independence Day!

Rabbi Yaakov Sofer honored us with his presence and exalted us with the fire of loving God and clinging to him. Of course, a 'tisch' was held in accordance with the (and perhaps rather out of) the limits of the corona. Happy Purim!

Beyond the personal preparation of each and every person, we were privileged to hear and smell the teachings of those who deepened and demanded the taps of the coming holiday. On Tuesday, Rabbi Golan Saadon spoke, who linked the holiday's issue to the state of the nation at that time. On Wednesday, we had the privilege of hearing a general lesson from Rabbi Eli Bezeq, who, in addition to his regular lessons as he did every week, also gave a general lesson on the Purim talks on Purim, and went deeper into things. Also on that day, we heard a shiur from the Rosh Yeshiva on the mental preparation required in order to absorb and receive the holiday lights correctly and accurately. And we were privileged to receive the sanctity of Purim - in earnest!

The Rosh HaYeshiva spoke of his tremendous personality and outlined the way in which we continue to lead from a strong belief in the God of Israel, his people, and in his country. May his memory continue to bless us with the knowledge he gained in his life.
Read MoreEven though we could welcome visitors in years past, we were privileged to celebrate Hanukkah with great joy in the light of the Torah. Like previous years, there were gatherings where the boys spoke about various issues in faith and Halakhah. And of course, there was also a festive meal, where Rabbi Yaakov Shlita and Rabbi Yochai Shlita gave over some thoughts on the festival. This year, for the first time, a 'tisch' was held on the subject of heroism, which was about strengthening the heroism of the Maccabees among us, in which the Rosh Yeshiva and Rabbi Yaakov Shlita spoke.
Read MoreDespite the added restrictions, we returned to Yeshiva Ayelet Hashahar Eilat, and the Beit Midrash is once again full of Torah study. Of course, we continue to adhere to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. The partitions were renewed and raised, and a separate capsule was established for Avrechim and Ramim. May we be privileged to make the best use of the Winter 5781 session, and out of this gathering will come abundance and blessing upon us and on the whole nation of Israel! Have a good time!
